Headlight on when unlock/lock Jeep??

My Jeep's headlight usually turn on when I unlock or lock it using the remote. Yesterday I notices it does not do this anymore. Is there a way to turn this feature back on?

What year Jeep? I know in 2012 (maybe 2011) you can change that setting with the EVIC.

You don't say what year your jeep is, but hopefully this thread will help.

My turn signals still flash but my headlights used to stay on for 30 seconds upon unlock/locking my vehicle.

I know for at least 10 and below the dealer has to do it. My 10 only does it when I unlock not when I lock. An 8 should be the same.

Im not sure the exact amount if time the lights would stay on, but the weird thing is that it just randomly stopped doing it

I've read about this and it has turned out to be bad TIPMs. Usually, it's one headlight that doesn't come on with the door locks, but it works normally with the light switch. Yours might be just a setting, I guess.

OMG I LOVE YOU. I couldn't figure out for the life of me why my horn stopped working while locking my doors. My son got a hold of my keys and was jammin all the buttons and somehow deactivated that feature. I thought it was the car battery or the new remote start system... no luck til now!

Well, I'm glad I was able to help you out!
