I'm running Sylvania Silverstar 9008ST (H13) bulbs in mine, and I have no complaints.......really clean and bright, white light.

If you want the best replacement bulb it is the Phillips X-treme 80+ hands down. Much better then any other H13 bulbs. Any other option to go away from H13's will need to be relayed for one thing. The Jeep's computer system can't handle changes very well.

Here is a detailed thread on other options and none are cheap..

Just picked up a pair of Delta Quad-Bars.
Delta Tech 01119850X - Delta 7" Round Quad Bar Xenon Headlamp Kit for 07-11 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec
Not the cheapest replacement, but I've read a number of good reports on these. Will post when installed (hopefully this week)...

I put mine in today and just got back 10 minutes ago from my test drive. Worlds different from the stock bulbs. Install was easy - hardest part was going to the hardware store to get a torx wrench set small enough (T15) for the lights. I picked a 2 pack up from Amazon for $35 - well worth it.

I chose the Philips +80s. Most excellent product IMHO. Total cost was under $50 including shipping. Install took maybe 20 minutes total.

They 'may' have satisfied my ongoing search for better lighting mods for on-road use.
