Headlights on a 13"

Has anything changed from the 12's to the 13's as far as the headlights?
I am getting a fare amount of people flashing me thinking I have my High's on. I only have 4500 miles and checked the alignment. The last one was from a $110k Mercedes which seemed funny. Oh, I do not have a lift kit or aftermarket tires besides the Rubicon wheels.

Something isn't aimed right if you're getting flashed for bright lights with stock headlights on a '13. Our 2013 lights aren't anywhere close to being bright when on low beam and no one ever has flashed us in the 10+ months we've owned it.

Find a level parking lot with a wall and park 25 ft away and see see what the beam pattern looks like on both low and high beam.

Yea I already did this. They seem fine. I'll just continue to show them my high boobs if they want to see them.

If you have some time. Here's a thread to run through! LOADS AND LOADS of good information.

Headlight Shootout

SERIOUSLY?
I realize that you are exaggerating, but is this a decent housing?

I put the extreme bulbs in my '12 and they didn't make much of a difference.

I've been looking for an improved housing,,, hoping this will help
If i knew then what i know now, i would have never said anything about those head lamps.

Read up guys!

Going to do the retrofit. To be honest, the stock JK housings are not what you think they are with a HID installed. Have a read through that thread i posted. They actually have a crisp pattern unlike 90% of headlamp housings on the market.

Im already invested in H4's so stock housings are not an option anymore. Hence a retrofit which is comparable.

Here's a quick look at what im talking about:

Just get the Trucklites and be done. I went to the Hella H4s first, and while they were a big improvement I was burning out low beams every 6 months with the Phillips bulbs- one time both at once- that sucked. The Trucklites are amazing, the X pattern is noticeable but a non issue for me.

This.

I debated going to an aftermarket housing and H4 bulb, but figured with my luck I'd end up replacing bulbs regularly and the cost versus Truck-Lites would end up being a wash over time.

One week in with the TLs, and I am loving them. I can see!!!! I put Inspired Cube fogs in also over the weekend, and the combo is performing incredibly well in the blizzard conditions we're in now.

It's the kind of lighting I expected out of a $35K vehicle.....
