Heavy steering....

Well after installing my Teraflex upper C gussets and replacing the ball joints with new Synergy HD ball joints my steering is well weird. The joints are intstalled correctly and everything else is also torqued to spec. I guess my question is, that by replacing the ball joints (the bottom joints were trashed....could move them around very easy) would it throw the alignment off enough to cause this heavy steering? Almost feels like its sluggish and understeered now. Steering wheel does come back to center but have to assist it sort of. I can tell that replacing the uppers brought my camber back in as the top of the tire were leaning in. Could it have altered caster and toe as well?

Thanks

Were they offset ball joints or standards? If the toe was adjusted with the worn ball joints then it will most likely be out now. Worth while checking the toe and caster to see whats going on.

They were standard not offset. It was my castor. I have 3" of lift and they set the castor to factory specs. I backed out the lower ca's to get about 6 degrees and it rides a lot better.
