Hella Horn Install Question

Novice electrician needs help!

I bought this set of horns to replace the OEM horn. 003399801 Supertone Kit High tone/Low tone,12 V, 300/500 Hz with Bracket.

Current horn has a black (+) and green (-). The horn included a relay that shows wiring here...in figure 2.a

Anyone have experience that could tell me where my current wires go on the relay, and which wires I need to run to each horn?

Thanks,
Jeff

I don't think I even used the relay. Used stock wires for one horn and then spliced into those for the second one.

The non electrician way

Top to Bottom:

Grill on

Grill Off

Horns attached to existing holes near top of radiator with stainless steel bolts

Wiring: I used existing wires to horns, one was gray, the other black "they're probably different on some jeeps. Anyway I added black wire and just plugged them into the ends of the existing horn wires, then I spliced in the other black wire to go to the second horn making sure to wire the second horn the same way I wired the first horn. So the original wires "with extensions " went to horn 1, and the spiced connections went to horn 2 making sure each wire went to the same location on each horn. I then coated each connection with liquid electrical tape to keep the water out.

I am no electrician and reading from other posts, the relay stayed in the box "I did not use it" The horns work fine and are nice and loud. No its a jeep honking not a Ferrari

The only thing I worry about is an impact on the grill might drive the horn bolts into the radiator.

Disclaimer:
Guys and Gals, this is the way I did it and it is only a suggestion. I will be responsible for my jeep only. It is working fine on my jeep . It is a 2010 JK Rubi.

Sorry , not real fancy on the post with labeling each pic.

I did not use the new relay either. I just hooked the horns to the existing wires.
