Hello from a newb.

Hi all,

I just wanted to drop a line and say hi. I just bought my first jeep, a 2010 Sahara a couple weeks ago and I'm loving it. I've been trolling the site and there seem to be a lot of extremely helpful people around. My first order of business was making some fold down flaps to cover the spacing between the floor and rear seats so that I can bring my dogs without worrying about them hurting their legs. I saw where most people were just stuffing blankets in the hole, but I wanted it to work like most cars have stock. I rigged it up with some springs so the flaps fold down with the seats and sit tight against the seat back with the seats in the upright position. I took some preliminary pictures when I was cutting out the pieces but no completed pictures yet. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll get some out.

I'm new to the Forum too, my first addition to mine was step rails. I'd be interersted in the pictures, my dog likes to fall into that gap as well.

Thanks for the welcomes.

Thank you guys for the warm welcome. I'm loving the jeep and seeing how you guys individualizes yours. I pulled the trigger on my second small mod today and ordered my seat heaters which I will hopefully get in time to install this weekend. I've already been looking at small lifts and I think I've decided on a TeraFlex 2" lift and 33x12.50 tires when I get to that point. I absolutely love the look of 3-4" lifts on 35's but this is the slowest car I've ever had and I'm afraid how bad it will get if I go larger than 33's. If anyone is interested I'm going to start a new thread about the seat gap covers so feel free to look it up and let me know what you think.
