Hello Old Friend...

Just took delivery of my 2014 unlimited altitude. This will be my third Wrangler. For some reason I go... Roadster, Wrangler, Roadster, Wrangler, Roadster, Wrangler...

New mods:
Looking for a hoist - probably going with the Harken.

Well, at least you got it right (again) Congrats!
And I know what you mean. I think I'm on Wrangler #7.

Just got rid of a 2012 Audi TTS which was preceded by an Unlimited Sport, which was preceded by an S2000....

I couldn't be happier though. The Altitude is like wrangler on the outside, audi on the inside with the leather and such. Think I will be keeping this one for a long time.

Congrats! Good looking JKU!!

Noticed you are considering a Harken hoist. I have an unused/unopened one that I can make you a very good deal on. PM me if you are interested.

I did the roadster - wrangler - roadster - wrangler dance as well... By changing the use of the roadster to a weekender only, now I have both.

2000 Miata SE
2012 Wrangler Sahara

And my high mileage daily driver is a 2010 Prius... I think I drive the 3 most controversial vehicles of all time!!

Awesome Jeep BTW!

EDIT: GO CATS!!!

The Papa Smurf build begins in May. --- My Jeep makes me happy! You, not so much...

pdxfrogdog - have Quadratec connections, but thanks!

Pressurized - originally I wanted to keep my old Wrangler AND get the TTS - but we only have a two car garage and hubby wasn't keen on having a vehicle in the driveway. Oh well.

p.s. Go CATS!

You have Outstanding taste in vehicles my friend. I imagine we run into similar experiences, known to friends and family as "a car guy" but .... we Love Jeeps too (soft spot when one drives by and we are in our roadster, head spins and we get that "pang") Next Jeep is in the near future
Keep it, enjoy it.

btw- I did a DIY hoist lift a few weeks ago and it works great (pullies and rope) one man up/down no fuss or muss and made dollies (carts) for my doors.

You seem to have pretty high ceilings. Mine are only 8 foot.

My garage is a little small. I wonder if the Harken hoist can be used with the rear window shut.

IMO ceiling only needs to be high enough to get the hardtop 4"-6" off the jeep. Then you pull in under it for parking in opposite attitude to each other.
Gets removed backed in then park nose in top now over bonnet.
