Help

My transmission indicator light has gone out on my 2013 wrangler does anybody know how to change the bulb?

I want to fix this myself, not the dealership, has anybody ever replaced the transmission indicator light bulb? What is the procedure.

It should not be out on a vehicle that new. I would get someone to look at it to figure out WHY it went out. Hopefully you just got a defective bulb. But on the off chance it is a symptom of a bigger issue might as well get to the root of it. I have been driving a long time and never ever had a bulb like that go.

X2 ^^ the cluster is not the same that there were 10 + years ago you will have a field day trying to fix that. just my .02
Do a search if your that hard pressed to do it on one of the forums one of the guys replaced all the lights with a different color. I don't remember where I saw it.

I just changed all dash cluster lights to blue lastnight and could see no way to change the gear indicator lights. This was on my 2009

It's not the light bulb behind the dashboard,it's the bulb under the console, by the shifter, that lights up the PRND when lights are on, has any body changed this bulb, what is the proper procedure.

Discussed on another forum. Look down to about the 9th post. Procedure is covered. Seems the toughest part is finding the bulb.

mine went out. I know its a connection issue, for a while I could smack the center console and it would come back on.

honestly I could care less though
