It should not be out on a vehicle that new. I would get someone to look at it to figure out WHY it went out. Hopefully you just got a defective bulb. But on the off chance it is a symptom of a bigger issue might as well get to the root of it. I have been driving a long time and never ever had a bulb like that go.

It's not the light bulb behind the dashboard,it's the bulb under the console, by the shifter, that lights up the PRND when lights are on, has any body changed this bulb, what is the proper procedure.

Discussed on another forum. Look down to about the 9th post. Procedure is covered. Seems the toughest part is finding the bulb.

mine went out. I know its a connection issue, for a while I could smack the center console and it would come back on.

honestly I could care less though
