How do y'all attach your flags to your jeeps. I want to attach a 3x5 flag to my JKU. Pics please

Saw one with a pipe clamped to the roll cage down bars, I think your jku slants though at the end

That's where I ran into this problem since the roll bar won't let it fly correctly

I ordered from ATV Flags Sand Rail Flags Off Road Flags.

I'm flying a 1/4" 4' pole and a 2x3' flag mounted to a Teraflex CB antenna tailgate mount.

I know this is an old thread & hopefully you have a great set-up already! Anyway, here's mine. Cheap & easy... Should work the same on a JKU

Working on a new way to fly a flag with or without top on. Gonna make it easy to take the flag pole out but leave the mount. I'm using 1-1/4" PVC pipe 2' long for the mount and a 1" flag pole. I'll try to finish mocking it up after work then hopefully paint it all black in the next week if it works

I had pipes welded inside my YJ's bumperettes that I could place flags or a ladder rack in. Worked great. Not sure what I will do with the JK. Could bolt some pipes to the corners somehow, I am sure.

I considered it but didn't want anything permanent so I'm going to zip tie the mount to the tire carrier arm

When top is down, a 3x5 flag is big for flying on a vehicle, I would zip tie it to the roll bar. Done that too.

It won't work with the sloped roll bar. I flew a 3x5 USA flag and a 3x5 okc thunder flag last summer (not at the same time). Just needed a new set up since I have a Trektop now. If 3x5 ends up being too big for the bumper, I'll get a smaller flag

Tie it in at the loop between the doors.

Wow that hurts the eyes. Great place to mount 3x5 flags though!

CB antenna works alright. Two Zip ties on top and bottom grommets. Highway speeds it whips around too much but around town and on the trail its great.
