I was hoping someone knew what they were, but it will probably have to wait until I have to remove that console...in the future...for some reason. For those of you with auto climate, the temperature sensor is in the panel below the steering wheel with holes similar to the ones in question. That's why I thought they were sensors. The only thing that makes sense is tweeters for the rear passengers...okay, hang on. Going out to the Jeep to see if there is sound coming out of them....nope!
I did verify that the center piece is a light that comes on with headlights on.
Ah! Finally and answer. Inverter vents. There is another vent on a panel in the back.
The two hooks must be a substitute for the window switches.
