Help me brainstorm...

I am trying to think of a solution for rolling my back soft top window up without damaging/scratching it.

My initial thought is to get felt or some other soft material, set up some velcro at the top and bottom of the soft top window, and roll it up so the window doesn't rub against itself.

Has anyone come up with a good solution to this issue? Either way, if you want to help brainstorm I am open to ideas.

Thanks!

Roll it with a microfiber towel. Theyre cheap and never a bad idea to keep stuffed in a corner of your Jeep.

Why don't you just hang them instead.

I keep my tailgate bar in place and let the window hang down inside the tub.

Won't it flap around obnoxiously?

I wish I could upload pics, but I will do my best to describe. I drilled to tiny holes on the inside bottom metal lip of the rear window about 4 inches from the edge. I put a piece of black string through each hole and tied it to make a small loop. I then have 2 S hooks. I unzip the window just to the top on each side and flip the top "inwards". The top of the frame in the very back has to horizontal cutouts in the metal for the S hooks. I put the S hook through that and then hook the string to the S hook. I can still see through the top (although not as good becasue you look through 2 layers of plastic), takes about 20 seconds to put up or down, it never touches itself to get scratched and doesn't flap one bit.
