I should have bookmarked the site and forgot, but I found a fabrication site making reasonably priced carriers for the rear of the Jeep for the freedom panels. I can't remember the site, but they were semi-customizable (could put your own custom logo on it) and pretty cheap - if I remember correctly, $100-$150. He also made a couple of other custom Jeep parts, I think he made a really spiffy mirror relocation bracket that slid your factory mirror on/off of a mounting point as well.
EDIT: looks like the video is up from their main page. Looks fairly simple, I wonder if it's something I could rig up myself. With a 2-door and passengers I didn't know I'd need to carry, space is at a premium.
Haven't gotten the carrier yet, but I want one. Might be a few paydays, gotta get a new cell phone, winter tires, etc - then it'll be winter and I won't need it, then it'll be spring and I'll want a soft top... we'll see. I wonder if I could get 'em to knock a couple of bucks off or ship it free or something as a "first guy on the forum" discount or something... I don't see ANYTHING about them, anywhere, on any site.
I agree about the website. For some reason the videos look like they were transferred from 15 year old VHS tapes.
The mirrors are pretty slick, but $250 seems a little (a lot) high. I have the dietechs. Those plus a pair of knockoff factory mirrors is still a hundred bucks less, and they're pretty much the gold standard for relocation at the moment.
