You will get many answers as to who has the best 2.5 lift. I run the Teraflex 2.5 coil and i love it.

Go coil or go home. I have the Rough Country- don't run it unless you're getting bumpers. Pretty stiff.
Go Teraflex if you're staying with OEM bumpers- Mark W.

You don't NEED a kit with shocks. Personal preference, your wallet and the type of performance you desire determines your choice.

Rough country 2.5" kits come in both flavors.

Myself I'm partial to Rockkrawler. I've seen and tried a ton of other companies and keep realizing that what I have is the best.

Their 3.5" kit gives you an adjustable front trac bar and a rear trac bar relocation bracket to keep everything within factory tolerance.

I, too, love RK, but if they're rocking a 2-door, their 3.5" is closer to 4.5", even with bumpers, it's still around 4," way more than 2.5" Mark W.

I have narrowed my choices down to either Old Man Emu or Teraflex. Anyone that has either, feel free to chime in!

OME is only 2" and runs a spacer to get part of that height. They have great shocks.

Teraflex is all-coil, and runs closer to 3-3.5" depending on bumpers, doors, etc.

For my money, I'm going Tera Flex 2.5" coil lift on my rig with Bilstein 5100 shocks- driven this combo before- seriously sick ride/handling combo- Mark W.

Can you further expand upon the "sick ride/handing"?

Seriously!

Hah- I mean that the ride is OEM-smooth (if not better), and it has much-reduced body roll, squat, and dive- sick Mark W.

I like the sound of that! That will have to be on my list of mods...
