I have a 2015 JKU Sahara hardtop. Finally got my top off and now I want tube doors. Have it narrowed down to two 1) RANCHO® RockGEAR™ Front Tubular Off-Road Doors with spiderwebshades or 2)Body Armor Gen III Front Trail Doors with webbing.
I really like the Body Armor but have read several bad reviews on installation.
Also if I buy from Quadratec, I've seen some people mention asking the vendor for a discount??? Anyone know how to go about this? Thanks in advance!
I had the Ranchos and really like the look. Fitment was good, but they did rattle offroad fairly loudly. They're made well though and open/closed just fine.
Love my ranchos with spiderweb shade sides. Mine never rattle. Maybe I got lucky, but I installed the rubber stopper in 3 spots till it was super tight.
I've got Body Armor Gen III and I think they're great. No problems with install - just a bit of fussing to get the placement of the latches adjusted, but no big deal. No rattling and they look awesome. The padding from the door webbing makes a nice place to rest your arm.
Got the Ranchos' with Spiderwebshadeskins from Northridge about a month and a half ago. Mine fit great with no rattles. Just had to install the rubber door stops then grind them down until the doors latched like I wanted them to. I've added the Quadratec mirrors since the photo.
In reference to the Q-tech discount just PM Rick from Q-tech and let him know what you want, have part#'s handy. He will PM you back a quote.Hes really good about it.
Just ordered the Ranchos and black spider webs!!!! Thanks so much for all the input!
