You can fit 35s with a 2.5 lift. Even stock with some minor trimming of the pinch seam. Any thing over 3inch of lift will need more modifications. Drive shafts, exhaust spacer, adjustable track bars. Anything much more that a 2.5 lift starts getting expensive quickly. If money isn't a problem then go for it just do it right.

I wouldn't use either one of those lifts, the Skyjacker or the RC. But that's just me.

And, as Asimpson said, if you go over 3" you're gonna incur some extra costs. A 2.5" lift is plenty for 35" tires. But buy a good one – Rock Krawler, TeraFlex, OME, AEV – or you'll most likely end up paying the price at some point down the road.

They stick out a good bit probably around 2-4 inches

They'll stick out this much on stock fenders:

I'm running 15x8 wheels in 35x12.5x15 GY MTRs. I now have BW flat fenders that cover roughly the same as OEM.

These are the best shots showing the profile you're interested in.

BTW, my lift is the Rock Krawler 2.5" Max Travel Pro.
