Unhappy HELP PLEASE!! Rear Tail light/Signal Failure

So, lately I noticed my left turn signal has been blinking really fast.
This happened before when I forgot to replug in the front turn signals.
So I knew there was something wrong with the circuit.
So the problem is in the rear taillight. I get no turn signal or brake light
in the left rear. Regular brake light and rev, light works fine.

I checked the fuse because they are connected and it would make sense if the fuse was blown. Fuse was fine but I replaced it anyway.
I check all the connections. They are plugged in tight.
I checked the bulbs, The bulbs were all ok but I replaced them just incase.
Still nothing.
I checked the the connection for corrosion and the are all clean and dry.

Anyone have any suggestions? Cops love writing out tickets for this.
Has this happen to anyone else or anyone have any helpful suggestions
that I haven't tried?

Thanks in advance.

Had this happen to my wife's car. After going through everything, I found that the tab for the ground inside where you put the new light was not touching. Took a small screwdriver and bent it to touch the new light and it worked. Hope yours is as simple a fix as this was

I'll check that out but still open to other possibilities. Thanks

Wow I just registered and was searching to fix this very problem on my wife's. Well I didn't know what to do but I bought a new set of tail light bulbs. I opened the housing and the old lights still looked fine. I pulled out the tail light bulb and replaced it, still the same problem. I pulled out the REVERSE bulb and replaced it as well and the problem was solved. Maybe, just like Currus, it was a matter of just pulling them and reseating them. Anyway, my problem was solved just by futzing with those two bulbs. Hopefully its as easy for you.
