Help troubleshooting a wet floorboard

So I was out cleaning the jeep out when I felt that the passenger floorboard was wet. The jeep is a 2013 2 door with a hard top that has been on. It has been raining the last couple days and I haven't noticed any leaks, at least none that would make the floor as wet as it was. If anyone can help me troubleshoot this I would appreciate it.

It's pretty easy to troubleshoot, a little harder to fix.....

Here's a link to the Jeep Wrangler Leak Manual .pdf (to large to post)

Good luck. It may take a number of trips to the dealer (I'm going through that now,) but usually it can be fixed. If not, unrepairable leaks is a major reason for Jeep buy-backs....

I have the same passenger floorboard leak issue. Water was leaking from between the door weatherstrip and the door frame.

After my second unsucessfull trip to the dealer I have learned they do not actually troubleshhoot anything, they just replace pieces and hope the water stops leaking.

I noticed the there was about a 1/4" bigger gap between the strip and door on the passenger side than the drivers side which does not leak. I just adjusted the door and it sits better now.

Did a hose check and no leak. I then used more water force at all the seams and although a few drops made it through none reached the carpet. Still waiting for a good rain (which in Florida is every afternoon) to see if I fixed the problem.

I just have to go to dealership tomorrow and get touch up paint for the bolts I loosened to adjust. Needless to say I am under impressed with the service department at Arrigo Jeep in West Palm Beach.

I had a hard to find leak once in my YJ what I did was turn the AC on Max, close the doors and hatch spray a generously soapy solution of Dawn and water with a spray bottle all around the seals (doors and hatches) and look for bubbles.... found my leak!
might be worth a try.
Good Luck
