It's completely worthless as are most add ons that say they will increase hp or mpg.

Read the ad copy:

Quote:
Silver Bullet throttle body spacer is constructed from precision machined T-6061 billet aluminum and is designed using a serrated/helix design that creates turbulence in air flow at the point just prior entry into the engine. This turbulence helps the air/fuel charge burn completely providing increased horsepower, torque and improved throttle response
Turbulence? Really? Improved throttle response? On a DBW system?

Biggest improvement I've ever seen to my JK was to stop eating at burger king while driving it. Each week it seemed slowly I would lose a few more lbs and thus greater fuel economy and horsepower.

Ok thank you guys, we were having the same discussion here about the "turbulence" thing. You guys confirmed what I already suspected.

ESP, Keep up the BKless diet, sorry I won't donate you them money, you can fall back into your BK vice which will reduce fuel economy.

The turbulence thing is funny because the intakes use the exact opposite marketing. They say that their tubes are designed so that the air "slides" through faster. I wonder what would happen in their minds if you used one to stop the turbulence and the other to create it?
