Smile Hi, I have a few questions about buying a Jeep...

Hi, I'm new here, and have some questions about jeeps I hope this forum can answer.

I don't currently have a jeep but am most likely going to get one next feb or march. Ive driven a few different '11's and read a lot about the '12's so I'm planning on getting a 12 cuz of the new motor. But my questions are these:

I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada, and if you know the area you'll know we get like, maybe, 2 month of summer a year, so would a soft top really be worth getting? And how much more secure would the hardtop be? I know if a theif wants in he'll get in, but is a soft top a much easier target?

And the 2nd question is, does anyone know how much more rear leg rooom there is between the 2 and 4 door models? Im torn between the two. I love the classic look of 2 door but 4 seems like more room in general, but if theres not too big a difference then I'd most likely just get a 2 door for the awesome look.

i had a two door and now have a four door. four door has a lot more room, as you'd expect. will fit camping gear and two large german shepherds easily.

Once I found out that the zippers for the windows on the soft top are on the OUTSIDE of the top...it was a no brainer for me....hard top all the way!

I spend a lot of time in NYC, some neighborhoods that aren't so great after dark, so....I feel more at ease having a hard top.
