just wondering if anyone has had an issue with their hi-lift rusting out, had it for about 2 weeks now and it has a good coat of surface rust on it. Not a big deal but im just thinking about how long it takes for the internals to possibly sieze up on it now.

I've had mine for a couple of years and it has some surface rust on it, but nothing major. If you leave yours out in the elements, I would get a cover for it. Also, I try to cycle mine every month or so and hit it the mechanical parts of it with some wd-40 every month or so. Just try to protect it from the elements when it is sitting stationary.

Don't carry the HiLift outside the jeep--

Never rust-and WranglerJR83 doesit right-

HiLift makes a vinyl cover or a "Jackguard", they'll protectit forever, but don't carry outside !
