Personally I have the 48" Hi-lift and it is hands down my best purchase to date. You can do so much with a Hi-Lift. You can even winch yourself out of trouble if you have a immoveable object to attach a strap to. Awesome purchase and totally necessary if your lifted. Go fo it.

BUT:

Make sure you learn how to use it. They can be really dangerous. I keep a bottle jack in mine for side-of-the-freeway use.

Also, you don't need the 60" version unless you're REALLY lifted. 48" will do fine, and will actually slide under your rear seats in a '12 JKU.

Some good stuff in here: Using a high-lift jack as a winch....fact or fiction...

There are also numerous videos on YouTube and on the Hi-Lift site itself.
