Hidden Winch Mod - End of Stage 1

Last weekend I installed my XRC8 using the hidden winch mod on the stock bumper. Overall I'm happy with how it turned out and with the piece of mind I get while wheeling.

This pretty much finishes up the first stage of my 2012 JK mods (most were made easier by the awesome how-to posts on this forum ) - after I wear out the stock tires (and give my wallet some time to refill ) it'll be time for stage two: lift, tires, bumpers.

Mods to date:
-Bestop Supertop NX Black Twill
-Rugged Ridge rock sliders
-Aries Grill Guard
-130W KC Hilites
-Smittybilt XRC8
-Smittybilt 2801 Winch Plate
-OR Fab vacuum pump relocation kit
-Fold down tailgate MOLLE panel
-Rugged Ridge grill mesh
-Rugged Ridge cowl cover
-Rugged Ridge taillight guards
-Mopar fuel door
-Mopar slush mats
-Mopar black Jeep logo
-Pixeldecal flag decals

The winch is $300 and the plate is $70, both from Amazon. It took about 4 hours to install.

Did you mount the winch upside down? Can you take some more detailed pics of the setup? If you can of course. I wanna do this to mine bc im one of the few who likes the stock bumper lmao
