I am seriously considering buying a new JK that I will use as a daily driver and for mild-medium wheeling. My only concern is the durability of these vehicles. This primarily comes from comments I have read on this forum. Unfortunately, I am not made of money so if am going to throw down 30k or so for a new vehicle I expect it to last (without major issues) for at least 7 years. I have a 98 F150 with 245k mileage now and it is going strong. I have seen plenty of Cherokees still on the road with mileage like that, but I don't know anyone with a JK.
Granted, if you use it off-road there is a good chance you will break something. That I am okay with. I just don't want to be in for warranty issues every 2 months if I happen to be doing nothing other than driving it to work.
