Hood movement

I have some hood movement when I get a lot of wind from passing trucks or just wind. Is this normal? And can I do something to secure the hood? I have seen some of the locks, but it would not allow me have covers over my grill. Help…

Just do a search here for "hood flutter". Possible fixes include removing the hood spring (completely fixed my flutter), zip ties on the stock hood latches, or new latches (Daystar, Drake).

Hood Movement

Daystar Hood Wranglers. Best time to install them is NOW! Winter temps make it all but impossible to install them as they are nowhere as flexible as the stock hood hold-downs. Takes 20 minutes, total. I bought mine at Quadratec. Cheap, easy, underwear stays clean on bridges and when you're abused by large trucks and busses.
