How does the rear License Plate Bracket mount?

Based on some info I think I read here I ordered the License Plate Bracket for my assembled in Egypt JK unlimited that has the Lic plate mounted like this

I need to relocate it to the US position b\c I got a tow hitch...

From what i remember reading I just needed to order this:

MOPAR 68064720AA - Mopar® License Plate Bracket with Hardware for 07-12 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec

Just got it from my dealer in the USA and its just the bracket and the wire and bulb (just dangling in place)... no mounting hardware, lens for the bulb or anything else.

My Jeep is in Egypt and i have not popped off the black plastic plate so I have not seen what is behind it...

Can some one fill me in on what I need to mount it?

Thx!

JK License Plate Bracket & Hardware

- 4 Nuts (6036683AA)
- 1 Bracket (68064720AA)
- 4 Hex Screws (6507238AA)
- 1 Lamp (68003487AA)

I think you will have to move the wiring harness from the bumper location up to where the plastic knock out cover is (just below LH tail light). What I don't know is if the connector is of the same style as the US.

Not to Hijack, but would this work?

Rock Hard 4X4 RH4006 - Rock Hard 4x4 Parts License Plate Relocation Bracket with ORO PlateLITE for 76-12 Jeep® CJ, Wrangler YJ, TJ, TJ Unlimited, JK & Unlimited JK - Quadratec

What would be underneath the 2012 factory lower left hand location if it were removed?

Well he has wires on the new bracket, so he'll just need to clip them and connect them to the new wiring.

Basically, you'll need to remove the wires from the bulb at it's present location, remove the license plate delete plate and pull the wires through that. The wires should be running down that area down to the bumper and to your current position. If not you'll need to run them to the corner and pass them up through the void inside the corner to the new location. If you remove the driver's side rear light, you'll have more room. Once you have the wiring to the new plate location, cut off the excess and connect them to the new wiring. The bracket itself is held in by three screws. They basically look loke wood screws, so finding replacements shouldn't be that hard.

Oh and after, if you are so inclined, take a hacksaw and cut off the old plate area to give you better clearance.
