How hard is it to install a........

RR XHD bumper and winch. i have it on order. I can get it installed at 4wheelparts for 135 bucks. But if i can reallocate that money it would be great. I just don't want to get half way through the process and get stumped or end up out there for 5 hours

8 bolts for the bumper and 4 for the winch, plus 2 wires to the batt.. should take no more than 2.5 hours.

oh, its pretty easy on a scale from 1-5 its a 2.5, bumper and winch are heavy, you'll need a 2nd set of hands.

life is too short to be taken seriously all the time,,,, go buy a MR.potato head and have some fun.

What he said. Installed both front and rear XHDs and winch in a couple of hours.

Except for the winch part. I don't have one, yet

The bolts are a pain, but easy enough to do with the right tool. Luckily the neighbor was home and I was able to ask for a longer socket extension in the size I needed I think it was 18mm

I did the install alone, it was very easy, just remember to connect all wires to winch, then winch to bumper than mount the bumper otherwise you will be like me and have to take the bumper off to mount the winch, then take the bumper off and the winch off to wire the winch.

Even though that was time consuming I really enjoyed the satisfaction of doing it myself. If you can get a buddy to help you it’s a lot easier.
