8,600 miles in less than 4 months. I haven't even taking any "big" trips yet. I will put a few thousand on it soon going from SE Pa to South Dakota/Colorado and back.
My 2014 Grand Cherokee (same engine as my 2015 Jeep Wrangler) just turned over 74,000 miles. I have been using Pennzoil Platinum 5w-20 and gem oil filters exclusively after the 4 free dealer oil changes ran out. Zero issues with engine or vehicle. This is my road SUV for work.
My 2015 Jeep Wrangler has 16,000 miles in it. I did a few dealer free oil changes and around 7,000 miles switched over to Pennzoil Platinum 5w20 and OEM oil filters. Only issue I had was a oil leak at one of those rubber grommets at the engine and transmission. Dealer said it was a transmission leak, replaced a gasket and all is well.
These seem to be low mileage posts. I will be extremely disappointed if the 3.6 Pentastar gives problems before 200,000 miles. I have not had a any issues with my last 3 FMC products before this and I traded them at this mileage. Knocking on wood.
How fast things change 53000 miles and in last three weeks had the heated seats need warranty work, the dreaded oil filter housing crack and now it is in getting radiator replaced. At 50000 miles I was bragging how good it has been now I'm not so boastful.
