How much is a '97 Wrangler 4cyl 20,000 worth?

Hi all-

I'm new to the fourm and am seeking experienced advice from jeep people. I'm looking to sell my wrangler and want to know how much I can expect to realistically get for it. First of all, I know this seems a little crazy because of the extremely low miles, but it's true! It's in excellent condition.

'97 wrangler
Soft top
4 cyl
auto
20,000 miles(Mostly highway miles back and forth to a summer home)
EXCELLENT condition.
No mods.

any help would be much appreciated!

cheers

Go to KBB.com and get a quote for a private sale, you should be able to sell if for the listen price if not a little more.

As far as I know, however they may be under priced because some people will pay extra for a nice older jeep. It really all depends on who you sell to. My advise would be to find your KBB price and ask for a couple thousand more.

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but your Jeep is probably only worth 40 or 50 bucks.....but I'm generous so I'll give you 75.

For starters KBB and Edumund values are what you can ask. Second, a 97 wrangler isnt a JK, its a TJ, ask in that forum.

see if you can find other ones on autotrader etc and see what they are selling for. Like the others said, KBB is a good place to start.

N.A.D.A. Home Page will tell you the loan value on it, which is slightly over what most banks are willing to loan on it...
