How to hold your exhaust pipes?

When I hit a rough road I can hear my exhaust pipe moving around and making some noise. When I check under the Jeep, it is all secured properly with the rubber mounts, however if I grab the pipe there is several inches of play in all directions.

I know there is to be some play in the exhaust pipe, however, is there a way to "snug" up the pipe to reduce the amount of play.

I was thinking about getting two large hose clamps and putting it around the lower frame on the drivers side (which is real close to the exhaust pipe) and exhaust pipe. My intent is not to re-support - just reduce the amount of play.

Anyone have any ideas?

I would be asking the dealer too, I have been over some very rough corrugations having a bit of fun and have never had the exhaust make any noises.

Are you sure its the exhaust? Have heard of the heat shields rattling around quite often making noise.
