To get the grill off you need to take out the black push pins across the top of the grill, they unscrew a little then just pop up with a tiny screw driver. Holding the bottom of the grill are just plastic tabs you just pull straight out from the bottom towards the bumper. Even with the light bar you don't need much space to get the bottom taps out then it should just lift up and out. You'll need to take it off whenever you want to change your headlamps or replace a bulb that has burnt out.

Thanks RB forgot about the turn signals lol, the push pins on top are easy to see, just start at one headlight and work your way across the top to the other

The JK's have 6 pins (basically from hood latch 3 per side) I never unplug the connector for turn signals, I just turn the lights 1/4 turn and pull out the light assembly from the grille. Pull bottom of grille out towards the bumper to remove pins.
Do what you have to do then just reverse for install.
*** Watch the pins, they are 2 part - a base & pin and do come apart, so you may loose one if not careful)
