Hudson Valley NY

I'm new to the whole Jeep thing but I'm looking to try some off roading. Does anyone know places to go in the Hudson Valley NY?
Great forum btw. Been learning a lot from just reading.

Places to go jeepin are usually not mentioned on the open internet, that is unless they are commercially doing this. That is why joining a jeep club is a pretty cool thing to do. If places were put up on the internet most would fear that it would be overwhelmed and then closed down.

Hey dude- I live in the Hudson Valley- near Millbrook area- where are you?
As far as LEGAL off-roading, there's not much. Going down to Rausch Creek in PA in 2 weeks- come check it out- Mark W.

yup...Rausch Creek in PA. A bunch of us from the forum all over the Northeast usually get together and head over there about once amonth. Usually the last weekend of the month. Keep an eye on the trail section for threads about them.

Hey, neighbor! Well, like I said, we're hauling down to Rausch EARLY on the 20th, and staying over into the 21st. It's a GREAT time down there (trying to get Sam ^ to come ), and not too spendy ($35 for a 1-year membership, $15 per day [driver- $5 passenger, and they need a membership, too]). It's maybe 4 hours from our area. Otherwise, we should meet up some time- I'm around most days, and I go to DCC, so I'm not far from you. My church is actually in LaGrange (All Saints Lutheran), so we could meet up any Sunday. Let me know- Mark W.
