Just got my set of Husky Weatherbeater floor liners for my 2015 JK 2 door. These fit the 2014-2017 Jeep JK. Let me preface this by saying I have been a Husky customer for years. I had a set of the classics in my 2005 Jiberty for 10 years and they held up just fine. I have also had three other sets since and nothing but praise for them. Well that ends here.
First I will start with the drivers side. All is well. Fit is fine. When attached to the floor clips they fit as they should on both sides. No complaints.
Now the passenger side. This is an issue. When attached to the floor clips there is a very noticeable gap on the right side. Plenty of room for dirt and other muck to get onto the carpet. Totally defeats the purpose of having floor liners.
If they are positioned where they should be you can see the clip mounts will not work. And the holes don't even come close to lining up. Yeah I could always leave the mounting rings off. But there is opportunity for the elements to get to the carpet.
I chose the Husky because I was a satisfied customer. And also because these appear to be the only floor liners that actually cover the area under the gas pedal.
I am considering contacting Husky about this matter to see what their solution would be. As is these will not do.
