Might as well start shopping for a new one as you won't be getting it back.

Cant you drive with your other leg? If you have a manual use your good leg to control throttle and brake and use a cane to control the clutch and one hand to steer.

Buy a cheap CAR so she can haul you around! Hide the keys to the Jeep! My wife's SUV is her's, my Jeep is mine, ( only mine )....Good luck!!

Went to the VA and, yep... it's a clean break. Doc is saying 6 to 8 weeks.
It is the right ankle so I cannot use a gas pedal at all. I am thinking that after about three weeks I can take off the boot to drive but even with that, I will need to use her Honda Pilot because:
1: It is easier to get into
2: It is an automatic.

So, she now gets my Wrangler...for at least the rest of the summer.
