I can paint my lug nuts w/ wheels? Right?

Going to be painting my wheels soon. A lot of the pics I see have the lug nuts as is... I can cover the caps of the lug nuts with the paint right? I do not plan on touching the inside of the hole or the screw on the lug nut. Thanks!

You can but I really dont see a point. The 1st time you change a tire they will look like crap.

^^^ As Talon said, one good tire rotation and they're all toast.

You might have some better luck with aftermarket anodized lug nuts but even with those they will eventually look like crap and why waste the $.

If you put a rage on the inside of the tire iron will prevent that

I used to have rubber caps that went over my old black wheels on my car. I may do the same when my black wheels come in.
