I got my Jeep!

Ok, I'll try this again. I accidentally deleted my first attempt.

Anyway, I picked up my Billet JKU sport last night!! 3.73, manual trans, etc, etc..
So last night I put on the tf leveling kit, wheel spacers, and treadwright tires...;-)

Today, with 29mi on my new Jeep, I took my Mom and son up to Gorman to do some four wheelin'...:-) Good times.

Thanks guys!
Ha!, yeah, it was 29 miles from the dealer to my house...then, it was on jack stands..;-)
And, yes, a big smile, indeed! I'm not a patient person and having to wait 6 weeks for this baby has taught me patience the hard way...now, I'm happy..
Can't wait to see some fellow Jeepers out on the roads/trails. I did see a couple up at Gorman today. a white jku and red yj...good times.

Just curious as to why you immediately switched out your tires for retreads... How do you like the Treadwrights?

Honestly, I stumbled on them while searching for tires and read so many good reviews for them, I said "what the hell"...Their customer service really was great and the tires ran great on the trip up to Hungry Valley and performed perfectly in the dirt...I'll definitely keep a close eye on them, as I, like most, still have that 'feeling' in the back of my mind about retreads, but I think it's really based on old info regarding 80k lbs semi's... We'll see!

Oh, and why did immediately switch tires? I was way too embarrassed about the car tires that came on it...had to lose them asap...;-)

Awesome new Jeep man! Sure is a big ol' smile you got there! I thought about getting retreads. Talked to my dad about it (he's old school) and he said that was a TERRIBLE idea, blah blah blah.. but with all the great reviews that I've read, its almost worth giving them a chance. We'll see I guess once my Duratracs wear out.

Jeep created another monster.........BBWWAAHHHHHHH

Congrats. Looks nice.

Better call your Finacial adviser tomorrow and tell him your future retirement contributions are going to be a little slow in coming.

Thanks everybody! Yeah, I'm loving this thing...In the morning I peek out the window to get a quick look at her before breakfast...man, I'm a dork. Nice to know that it's a normal feeling...;-)

Yeah, I had all the stuff the week after I ordered it...a little trigger happy.

RK, I'm in Reseda, have we met somewhere?
