I have a couple of dtc's I could use a little help with

First is po481 cooling fan control circuit / open
Next is po693 cooling fan 2 control circuit low.

I checked the wires and plugs then erased the codes, and I drove around and after a while the light came back on. I erased them again "same codes as before" and after a while they come back on. Usually after I sit for a few minutes with the car off and then restart it it pops on. I am at a loss. And the fans are running.

Is it just me, or does "reboot" sound like a Windoze fix? It doesn't fix anything MicroCrap, so I doubt it will solve this issue. Is it still within warranty? If not, how old are the components involved? In the case of plugs, have you disconnected them, make sure they're cleaned out and then replaced them? Are the wires able to be checked for voltage under different conditions (power off, power on, etc)? Electrical isn't really my forte, but it seems this isn't a bad place to start...

What year Jeep? I can get you the testing instructions for them.

This is for an 08...they should all be about the same though. And doesn't warranty cover it still?

For P0481.
When Monitored:
With the ignition on. Battery voltage greater than 10 volts.

Set Condition:
The PCM is requesting the TIPM to turn on the Cooling Fan On and it is not operating. One Trip Fault. Three good trips to turn off the MIL.

Possible Causes
CAN C BUS FAILURE
ENGINE COOLANT TEMP SENSOR DTCS SET
COOLING FAN CONTROL CIRCUIT DTCS SET IN THE TIPM
POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM)

P0693
When Monitored:
With the ignition on. Battery voltage greater than 10 volts.

Set Condition:
The PCM is requesting the TIPM to turn on the Cooling Fan On and it is not operating. The TIPM detects an open or short to ground in the Relay Coil Control circuit. One Trip Fault. Three good trips to turn off the MIL.

Possible Causes
(K175) HIGH SPEED COOLING FAN RELAY CONTROL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO
GROUND
(K175) HIGH SPEED COOLING FAN RELAY CONTROL CIRCUIT OPEN
HIGH SPEED COOLING FAN RELAY
TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE (TIPM)

Water inside connections could cause this... is it wet? did you take it swimming? Just a thought.

This is an 07. When we have the next dry day I will take the connectors apart again and recheck them, I'm just not convinced the dealer has a real competent mechanic in the electronics field. I may be wrong but if I can't fix it I don't want them to be spending 20 hrs @ 70.00per hour to guess at it.

I did go to the Bad Lands a week or 2 earlier but would've thought it would've came on then. It was just out of the blue on a nice warm day.

I am not sure if the low/high is working I just know the fan comes on occasionally like it always had.

Thanks for the procedures to fix this, I haven't had time to look at it yet, BUT I have noticed since the top and doors have been off and my AC hasn't been on the codes have not came back. So I am thinking this has something to do with my high speed fan. At least it narrows down what it could be.

I have been having similar problems for 2 years. Problem is more apparent with slow driving and a/c on. But not consistent. I have been through Kansas through 100f heat and no issues. Then in the blackhills of SD I found to have a problem in 85f. Weird or what says William shatner. Now in winter I have the problem without a/c even on as its only 2f here.
