I have few questions ! Planning to buy 2013 Jk

Hello all!
Im trying to buy 2013 wrangler unlimited soon and I wanted to ask you guys few questions. I did some researches but there were so many information and Im really newbie at all car info stuff... so...

Im buying a sport and what would be really good options to put in my vehicle?
if my budget was high I would just go with full option.. but I would like to only put what people would actually recommend... Also I want to change my wheel (17-18) and tire (35-36?? not so sure) so is there anything I should know before I actually buy my car?

Thank you all for your time!

3.73 axle ratio.

Pay no more than 1% under invoice plus $75 max in dealer fees.

Don't call it a car.

In California all fees and sales tax is about 10-11% of a car cost. Good luck with a jeep. Im currently in the market for my first jeep too. Im planning on 2013 White JKU Sport Base+ Auto Tran+ Hardtop. I dont really care about power windows and mirrors, upgraded wheels and tires. Id rather save $3000 and not go with S package. I will customize it based on my own preference later.

What color do you like?

Bigger wheels need lower gearing. It's numerically higher. 3.73 is a good option unless your planning on going so big it would require a re gear anyways. With a sport with 3.73 option you could go up to a 33". You could probally get your jeep to move on 35" tires but it would suck and you would have no acceleration. Going off-road would be bad news.

Your going to end up ditching your wheels (some people call them rims) when you get new tires. You have to have the right backspaceing from the wheels hub. So basically don't pay for the upgraded wheels if you can get around it. They would also be really easy to find on craigslist because they basically force you to upgrade your wheels to get some packages.

I would get the conectivity package. It lets you program features that otherwise cannot be done. It also alows you to have wireless connection to a smartphone. Most features like removing the seatbelt chime can be done with sequences, but not all. http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/man...le-155357.html

I got the power group because the window knob hit my knee on the test-drive. I decided power would be nice and the knob might drive me nuts.

If your ever going to get a hard-top from the factory is the time to do it. Soft-tops can be had on sale for about the same price as you would get from a dealer. You can sometimes find them on craigslist. With a hoist you could go just hardtop for awhile. If you upgrade later you would have to reflash the computer and put in a new steering wheel knob for the rear wiper to work.

Thx for your opinion! good luck on your Jeep too!. Im actually looking for white too. Also considering black. In my opinion, white looks good even as stock but ..to me it looked better black when modified..

Yeah I'm actually looking for hard top. Also I was thinking I would get power group because manual window knob will drive me crazy . So should I get most basic wheel and tire and just upgrade it later via after market?

Thanks. Black is number one, then White- always, but i do have currently a black car, and this is a reason i want to go with white now)), But let me tell you this, if you do right set up with white car, then it might look better than black. There is nothing better than white jeep with contrast of black hard top, black fender flares and black wheels.

Just to get power windows, you also have to add power locks, power side mirrors, sport s wheels( not basic) with upgraded tires, but you will still want to change your wheels with after market later on. You could skip all this and save $3000 or get it))
