I feel the same....(kinda)...

I didn't pick it mine until November.
The Wrangelr was kinda....meh this winter.
T
he heated seats didn't work on really cold days (thus defeating the purpose), the fuel economy was brutal (dipping below 14mpg at times...stock), and I didn't have my Hotheads in until February...so that didn't help.
This is the first vehicle I have owned in nearly 20 years....since I was in college (I'm 38) that didn't have a moon roof...and I really missed that on cold, sunny days. I still hate the doors on windy days when I'm carrying stuff.

On the plus side...limited slip and AT tires were great on slick roads.

But in the few decent days we've had this spring (and I stress "few")...when I was able to pull the freedom panels off.....I kept thinking...this is awesome. It was 70 and sunny the other day during lunch time. I pulled off both panels, rolled down the windows, and made a Jersey Mike's run during lunch. I kept thinking........this is amazing.

I'm in the process of building a hoist so that I can put on the soft top and spiderwebshade, and store the hardtop for the summer. I bet it is nothing but smiles when you are driving topless.

I hate to say it, but I might enjoy the Jeep more than the motorycle this summer. I love my motorcycle, but I always ride in jeans, armored jacked, gloves, goggles, and a helmet. That kinds sucks on hot days going to work or just running to the store (I commute on a bike a lot).....I hate lugging the stuff around Wal-Mart.

I'm so looking forward to being able to run to the store in shorts, a t-shirt and flip-flops.
