I needed an outlet

Well really my daughter did for here iTouch when she is sitting in back. Pretty easy install. Picked up an outlet, 20' of 14 gage, wire connectors and splicers at Advance Auto ~$23 in all.

I removed these 2 torqs on each side, not sure if I needed to or not, but I figured it would give me more slack so I could see what I was doing while removing the cup holders. Next I ran the 14gage to the power outlets in the front. Started by disassembling the center by starting at the bottom. pulled on the netting on either side to pop off. Removed the 2 metric hex heads behind that, and pulled out until I had enough room to splice into the outlet on the passenger side (the one that always has power).

Buttoned everything back up. Wrapped the cords on the outlet with electrical tape for more clean look, they were red and white and very noticeable. And the finished product.

(Sorry, I didn't know how to insert the picks in between the steps)
