I Run Topless & "Need" A Sub

I run topless 100% of the time and I am looking for a sub & enclosure. I have an '07 JKU with Polk speakers.

I have a tonno cover, however, there is a 1 inch gap between the back seat and tonno cover so a little bit of rain and water accumulation could occur. I figured this would be the most protected area from elements for a sub?

My home & office both have a garage so its covered most of the time from the rain. I've had a sub in a Tahoe & Silverado but we all know I'm not going to get amazing bass. What do you recommend for a sub & enclosure being out in the open? I'm looking to get a 10 inch, but will take recommendations from the experts!

I know JL Audio makes the marine sub & enclosure but my wife won't allow me to pay the money for it & I know there has to be something else out there.

I run a 10 in the rear and mounted the amp under the dash below the steering column. Great stealth location.

I would check out the mopar sub upgrade/enclosure. Mine came stock with and I run topless fairly often. Pretty damn waterproof so far. Plus I installed a line level converter and nice big amp under the cloth mounted on the back seat. Going to add something under the cloth and on top of the amp soon for better waterproofing.

How about a stand alone unit like the Infinity Basslink? I had one of those in the TJ that fit perfect behind the backseat. I used a breathable fabric that repelled water and laid it over the Basslink and bungied it at the base. Aside from having to use an air hose to blow out the dust once a year, it stayed pretty clean. It still got a little wet, like when I washed the Jeep ans sprayed everything out, but overall it held up well.
