I want that 70s look

Silver 2011 Wrangler Sport 2 dr. softop
I am going to put in a ReadyLift 3" lift, and then wanted to get 32" tires with the old white spoked wheels.

I currently have the stock 16" 5 hole steel wheels on it.

I know American Racing used to make the White spoked (wagon) wheels.
Can anyone recommend a wheel manufacturer / tire combo that they think would work best ?

Thanks

I don't know about the white wheels, but just thought I'd mention that every Sport that upgrades to Rubicon or Sahara tires/wheels comes stock with 32" tires. No lift is required for 32s and--in my opinion--3" of lift will look pretty big over them.

No lift needed for 32's....good to know. Thanks, you just saved me spending $500 on the ReadyLift kit.

Like these? They're close . . . .

Don't know if I've seen a set like these for a JK.

A couple suggestions. In my opinion Readylift makes quality products, but they are way, way overpriced. I'd suggest looking at the Daystar, Rough Country, Pro Comp, Terra Flex or other budget boost spacers and save a lot of money.
Like you mentioned, white wheels went out of style a long time ago, so they will be hard/impossible to find. But you could easily powdercoat your stock or some aftermarket black steel wheels.

why stop at the wheels? get a repop hood eagle and some 2 or 3 tone colored stripe decals, too.

I can't say it enough. If you want YOUR Jeep to have a look. Than do it! Why listen to ppl that want YOUR Jeep to like theirs? Does the word sheep mean anything to you ? Just make up your jeep without any chrome use black as much as you can then you too can have a Jeep that will fit in with the rest of the herd-pack whatever.... Baaaaaah Baaaaaaah <<<<translation>>>>> Have nice day

I don't gather anyone in this thread was telling JeffMiller412 not to use white wheels on his Jeep. I think folks honestly haven't seen them for sale and were having a hard time finding them. The 70s style pictures and mustache jokes were simply referring to the comically ambiguous thread title, which is unclear about whether he wants his jeep or himself to have a 70s look. Wandell, Sinister, and I all had legitimate suggestions.

For the legit suggestions wonderful. It's the making fun of type suggestions that have always bugged me. My response was a bit of "spill over" from a previous thread. I think I'll take my own advice and "lighten up".

NP JPzilla... I was only looking to see if anyone had put the white spoked wheels on their Jeep. Would make it easier for me if I jnew their wheel/tire combo for when I went out and purchased.

I kinda like the 70s jokes. There's nothing funny about 2011 except for our "President".

Maybe JPzilla needs a laxative.

Also remember most 15" and some 16" steel wheel will not fit even if you can find one with 5X5 bolt pattern. They will rub the calipers

If you don't mind Wheel spacer/adapter you could get these and then you possibly could run a CJ wheel

I understand the quest for that look. I tried to find some aluminum slots but ended up with Mickey Thompson Classic II's in a 16" diameter. There is a company that makes a wheel called "oldskool" for Discount Tire that has the old American Racing wheel look. If you are really "brave" and could care less what the bedliner's think, you could look for a chrome grill. It would definitely be 70's. I have thought about it myself.

Would mention the the front lugs on the JK are a little bigger the 1.25" and would need ground down slightly to fit 1.25" spacers.
