Icon Vehicle Dynamics Lift Kit

Is anyone here running an Icon Vehicle Dynamics 3" lift? Saw a setup on a JK at the Denver Auto Show tonight and it looks pretty nice. Looking for any opinions on it.

Sorry can't comment on the Jeep lift but I used to run their products on my Toyotas and they were quality products.

New guy bumping this. Icon, at least in the Nissan Titan (what i currently own) world, is one of the top suspension/ coilover manufacturers for the money. I haven't been able to track down any reviews of their 3" kit either. I'm looking to purchase a '11 or '12 JKUR within the next couple of weeks and would really like to run it, but of course I want to see some reviews first.

I also would like to find a review on the Icon 3" kit. I run their coilovers and suspension on my Toyota Tacoma, and they are top notch in quality. I would like to find out how good the handling and ride are on the JK.

(Hint: go with the 12, much better option from an engine perspective).

When I had my Nissan it was the kit I was gonna go with as well. However, the Jeep is it's own animal so not sure how much testing and research these companies put into this stuff. I would think you are fine, but personally if it was me I would go with a company more known for Jeep lift.

I contacted icon and asked if they had any links to reviews. They didn't, which surprised me because they are a decent sized company who's products are well known in other vehicle markets. I got the generic "icon guarantees your satisfaction with the quality of this lift" response. They're only hurting themselves by not pushing a review of their product.

The shocks are supposed to be in a league of their own.

Definitely going with a '12; still looking for one at the moment. They're a rarity in eastern NC apparently. I'm also most likely going to go with the 2.5" AEV, unless I can talk Icon into giving me a discount for a full product review.

They are amazing on Toyotas. Digressive damping.

I was hoping for some reviews or firsthand experience with Icon on the JK. Too bad. Too much $$ for me to invest without some reviews.

i talked to a local jeeper who has em. it was a quick conversation since he parked next to me when i was about to leave. He had the icon 3 lift and all he said that it rides "amazing" although he compared it to stock. He didn't thoroughly give me any other details, and i didn't ask because from the looks of his expensive and clean looking 18 chrome wheels, he doesn't use it as a jeep.

Just ordered the Icon Stage 3 lift. I run them on my FJ Cruiser and have been extremely satisfied.

I wouldn't necessarily get too excited about Icon. They just introduced products for Jeeps. While they do produce good products for Chevy, Ford and Toyota, Jeeps have their own nuances. These companies aren't that big and they can only dedicate so many engineering resources to each product. With a wide range of products the resources get diluted or compromised across multiple vehicles. With so many great products already available from companies dedicated to Jeep, I wouldn't jump on their lift kit bandwagon until they have more experience unless you just want something different.

Let us know how it is once you get it. Pics of packaging, instruction, and parts, as well as when you're done.

Spinlock, I'm sure there was some point in time where that was said about most companies branching out to new markets. All it could take is one good review.

I agree. I sent them 2 messages way back when this thread was posted. Guess what ? No response. This right here would steer me away.
