ID this Rubicon Express Kit?

Just picked up my first Jeep today, used 13 JKUR. Has a some goodies but former owner isnít into the details of what he installed. Hoping someone can ID which Rubicon Express kit (from 4Wheelparts) it is and do I need to upgrade any parts to ensure I avoid death wobble and optimize the ride. Iím open to ditching the kit if thereís something better. It has Bilstein 5100ís. Says he upgraded steering stabilizer but canít tell.

Iíve read a bit over the last week so hoping to contribute.

Thanks.

White is I believe pro comp steering stabilizer but usually there is a big pro comp sticker on it. For sure rubi express cause of gray springs just hard to tell what size. Post pics of the actually jeep from the side. We're all nuts and can usually tell by seeing it and knowing tire size

Looks like a RE 3.5" standard lift. Same one I have on my '07. Looks like an adjustable front trac bar and the relocation bracket for the rear trac bar.

Ya have to agree on second look didn't see the trac bar. 2.5" kits didn't come with it unless you paid for it, 3.5 kits come with it standard. Nice eye

Looks good.
- Coils/shocks -sway bar links extended -front adj track bar -rear TB axle bracket If she drives good leave her be. If not there's things you can do to improve the ride like front LCA's or AEV/Rancho drop brackets for caster.

Thanks. The only issue I "may" have is it feels like Im constantly adjusting the steering wheel during bumpy roads. Not bad just a slight left right to keep her straight. I say "may" because this may be a normal characteristic with larger wheels.
Correct no sticker on the steering stabilizer but ill check for a part number to reference.

Good to check the alignment. Low caster from the lift (assuming this is the case) will cause steering issues.
Front lower control arms will fix this. Or you can look into front drop brackets. I posted 2 threads. One on Rancho and other on AEV's brackets.

Check them out !!!

Rubicon express and AEV both use the gray coils but I do believe this is RE because AEV's tend to look more silver than gray.

x2 on pro comp SS.

3.5" superflex...same as mine. Stab looks oem to me tho. Should drive better than oem. I think you have an alignment issue for sure. Make sure you hit a good alignment shop that specializes in lifted trucks.
It's a quality setup btw.

I'll check on alignment. For sure the kit is RE. Nothing on stabilizer states Rancho or ID's brand. What color is OE?

I may get all parts (LCA/Drops, stabilizer, etc) then align. Want to do right the first time without any doubts later of upgrading.

I don't think its a super fex short arm....has stock upper arm in the one shot.

Its the RE standard 3.5" with a Procomp SS. That's the same SS I have just minus the sticker..they just didn't put it on.

From that lift you can do all 8 arms and a drag link flip kit to greatly improve ride and steering geomentry.

You have bump steer which the flip kit should fix. Make sure the TB is tight.

I have the Bilstein 5100's and love them.

If you can afford it - do all 8 arms. The RE lower arms are not adjustable but are longer than OEM. The uppers are adjustable.

If you only do 4 arms - do the uppers as they are adjustable and will give the greatest results to improve ride etc.

The SS you have is fine. Dual SS is simply cosmetic.

I need to be schooled on this stuff
Assuming you're refering to the 8 short vs long control arms. Should I stay with RE brand?
Friend is suggesting to relocate stabilizer to upper but i dont think this rig will see knarly rocking anytime soon.

Short arms bolt to factory locations upper and lower...RE uppers are adjustable..lowers fixed..a little longer tho than stock.

Long arm kits require modifications like welding ,relocating, etc...more involved, since they don't use factory locations... more expensive..usually hardcore crawlers.

I haven't hit my SS yet...I wouldn't worry about it....if you do replace it..they aren't that much.

OK so looks like I need:
Short Arms (8):
Drag Link Flip Kit: http://www.rubiconexpress.com/Brakes-Steering/Chromoly-Draglink.aspx?t_c=65&t_s=430&t_pt=4482&t_pn=R%2fER E2610
LCA/Drops: TBD

Should I stay with RE or do you recommend other brands given my set up?

Do you wheel a lot or mostly DD? You may want to try the drop brackets first. The drop brackets do what arms cant and lower the mounting points of the arms flatter. Which improves drivability a ton. Drop brackets also set your caster angle and a few only benefits.
This would be the least expensive route

Front lower ca's only to set caster.
For the rear you can do uppers only to set pinion angle. You do not have to do all at once if installing short arms.

I've see people do both arms/brackets. Best of both worlds and it works great. Just letting you know it's not necessary

For the flip you will also need to raise the track bar. Here's the Synergy set up. Best out there IMO.
I like this video because you can also see my Rancho drop bracket using stock arms.

Yes mostly DD (99%). Commute 100 miles 3x week. California hwys arent the best. Drove it for first time to work today. It pulls a little to right, likely alignment. Besides it feels like a Jeep I really dont know the characterstics of an optimal ride. Now need to find a local shop that knows how to align w lifts. Prob a good idea to make sure everything is tight too. Thanks all for your help. Im sure I'll have lots more questions

If you live in socal, I don't mind giving you a ride in my jeep for comparison (we also have a meet in long beach the last Thursdays of the month...just check out the CA threads). I have the RE 2.5 kit with aev drop brackets and its phenomenal. Smooth, absorbs the uneven streets of CA, and very easy to drive without any wandering.

Thanks for the invitation. A bit far from NCal. Looks like consensus on AEV drops.

I'm on a RE superflex, and drives better than oem. Really. I would recommend buying uppr and lowr RE arms and be done. Not sure u will be happy with drop brackets when u finially get hooked on the off roadstuff!

Technically a drop bracket can drag on something, but they don't hang down any lower than a typical long arm bracket and don't seem to have many probs with getting hung up. I do absolutely agree with changing out the rest of the control arms to gain the most out of the superflex kit.

Alignment seems good

Retorqued everything on the ground, played with different tire pressures from 28-35psi but the bumpsteer is still present. Before I invest in new parts I took the suggestion of checking the alignment. Per the shop it's good and no adjustment needed.

The cam bolts from RE kit on the OE lower arms are maxed out so no more adjustment. Per RE the caster could go to 4, 4.5* max which will firm up the steering. So theyre suggesting a their flip bar, have to replace drop bar that cam with kit to match the new geo and front upper/lower short arms.

Also, I know it's overkill but I ordere the Fox 2.0 Performance steering stabilizer.

Thoughts?

Part list:
re3750 front lowers
re3752 front uppers
re 1675 Track bar bracket
re1680 front track bar (different geo to work Drag Link)
re2610 Drag Link bar (knuckle needs to be tapered from top. Snap-On R121 Taper Reamer $50. Pitman arm touched up taper.
