I got the JKU used and found these under the rear seat. I am thinking to an amp or powered sub?? The radio is a stock 430N with stock speakers. Any ideas?
Looks like there was an amp.
I'd back track the main power wires, and make sure it is fused, and the fuse has been pulled, so it's not live. It probably is fused and pulled, but still a good idea to double check, there's some real hacks out there. It could have been removed in haste by previous owner or dealer.
I checked the the main power cable and it is disconnected from the battery. So i am guessing I could hook up a small mono amp and sub and it should work. Assuming that everything else is still connected at the back of the radio which looks like it is.
When trading in a vehicle and removing things like aftermarket audio, it is usually easiest to leave the wiring kit (power, ground, RCA, remote turn-on wires) in the vehicle than to try to remove them for re-use in a new vehicle.
As long as there is no power to the wires from the battery, they are safe and could likely be re-used should you want to install an amplifier. You may want to see if there is a Line Out Converter on the other end of those RCAs unless the vehicle has an aftermarket radio installed.
