If you had a choice

Just curious what different people would do. I am at a cross roads amd can't deside what I want to do next. The price would be about the same for the three mods I have in mind.

Converting over to rear coilovers

Upgradeing winches. My poor M8000 is on its last leg after to much abuse.

Or getting a set of 37 inch radial PitBull Rockers.

Just wondering what different folks would do?

I love me some pitbull rockers, but of those three I'd do the rear coilovers. especially since you already have fronts.

Well, you can't really get along without a winch. So I guess my vote goes that direction. Otherwise, rear coil overs sounds like alot more fun!

Don't you already have 37's?

I'd say coilovers if your winch hasn't sh*t the bed yet.

I think if the winch is crapping out you have to go there first. Then get the coil overs as a memorial to your old winch lol

Having seen some of your videos, it looks like you guys don't go out alone and like to hop shelves or limestone cliffs and whatnot.

All things being equal, if the new tires would be more fun, do those first.

Unless, your winch gets regular use. Growing up, everyone in the extended family who had a winch used it for all sorts of things, up to and including getting un-stuck. So if you are like that, maybe the winch is priority.

I guess rear coil-overs have a good return on investment, but it's one of those mods that can get into serious cash, welding, cutting tub for the long ones, etc. I will never run them, but that don't stop me from checking out twisted up pics and videos of dudes running them on all four corners. I only see them (the big sets anyway) on rigs towed around. I've never seen an "extended travel" monster set on a daily driver.

(my Jeep is still a baby, but is working up to a winch one day, lol, so take my opinions on this for what they are worth, speculation! )

Oh yeah I also am thinking about MasterCraft seats with 5 point harnesses. Decisions decisions.

How worn are your km2s? If they're getting towards the end of their useful life I'd definitely say the rockers. They kick a$$ on the trail. Else I'd go with the rear coilovers. Good luck!

The KM2s have about half tread on them. About 25k. Only thing is one side wall is damaged to where the cords are showing and one got drove 500miles after the tie rod was bent way out. All the tread on the inside got wore off and the rest of the tire is cupped out.

I probably will hold off till October or so to get a new set of tires. We have a big wheeling trip planed for that month.

OH THANK GOD a thread without any mall crawl in it!

I dont see why you can't do at least 2 of the items. I dont know what kind of budget you are working with. I'm eyeballing the Superwinch lp8500, only $299 on amazon. That being said I have seen your rig in person and I'm guessing you will go with something more high dollar.

my vote is winch and rear coilovers.

Hey maybe I can do me a bunch of LED lights underneath. There are a bunch of people around here that think it is a must have mod. As far as winches go I probably will go with a http://www.warn.com/truck/winches/95xp-s_winch.shtml this time. Might even move my M8000 to the rear.
