Ignition at steering column loose

I've got a 2013 with about 15k and have been very happy with my first Wrangler(had a couple Cherokees). The ignition at the steering column where you insert the key to start(the chromed face covered in the lower steering column shroud) is extremely loose. The ignition operates fine, but in rough road conditions it makes a hell of a lot of noise jiggling up and down, even with a single key and no key chain. Anyone experience this and/ or can recommend a fix? I'm guessing it's another fit/finish issue that I can McGyver, but not sure.

The bolts are probably loose & they're break away bolts. You'll have to remove the trim from the column& see. But it's under warranty so I would recommend taking it in& having them do that. Just incase something else happens with that& you take it in& they see that it had been touched from an outside source.then you're screwed.

I started to remove the shroud on the steering column and then thought better to have the dealer take a look. I don't wanna get screwed if I mess with it. Service due soon so I'll handle it then.

Good plan. Some people may not agree. But for me, I rather let warranty take care of everything while I have it. Once it's gone. Then I can have Mi fun!
