I have a 2011 unlimited with a 2" leveling kit. I drive mainly pavement, but a little off road.... a little.

I'm looking at 285/70 R17 for the size.

Brand wise,
Yokohama Geolander A/T-S

Cooper Discoverer S/T MAXX

The cooper might be a bit aggressive, but I don't know anything about yokohama.

Oh ya, these are in my price range $898 - $1223 out the door for 4.

Thoughts??

The Cooper ST Maxx is IMO the best Agressive AT on the market today. No all terrain tire has been built better to handle a wide variety of terrain the the ST Maxx. However with that said they are only available tmk in load range E.. That might leave your ride to be slightly harsher then running a load range C or D tire.

The Yokohama AT/S is a nice mid grade AT.. Will be very smooth and quite on the street and give you very good wet road performance. That also applies to the cooper.. the biggest difference will be between the two is the Cooper is a way way way better option if you plan to go offroad at all.

People will come on here if they haven't yet by the time I post this and rave about the duratracs.. They are a great option for your situation as well. The agressivness of the Cooper ST Maxx and GY Duratrac will not factor much if any at all in your on road perforamance in comparison to a mid grade AT.. Like the yokohama
