Incentives?

When I ordered my Jeep on Feb. 18 there was a $750.00 Customer Cash Allowance & a $500.00 My Bonus Cash Incentive. My dealer told me he could guarantee the 750 but not the 500. It is up to what incentives are available at the time of delivery. Is this accurate?

You should check your State laws. In Wisconsin all rebates available at order time must be granted at pickup, even if they expired.

Are rebates in writing?
Are there any conditions therein that may preclude payment of same......expiration, conditions etc?

This is true. At least for the Ford side of things. All orders are subject to current incentives at time of delivery. You are however protected against price increases throughout the year. If you ordered a vehicle a couple of months ago and when it arrived there was a $300 MSRP price increase you would be locked in at the price it was when you ordered it. The factory incentives however do not work the same way. However you do take the chance of incentives getting better when you vehicle come in as well which you can take advantage of. It's a crap shoot.

Why do you have to assume it's the salesman lying to you when it's simply not the answer you want to here?

All I can tell you is that my dealer in NJ guaranteed the incentives at the time I ordered my 10 Rubi until it was delivered and any incentives subsequent to when I ordered it so it was a win win for me. They probably didn't have to do it but they did.

First off, check the Jeep website, they'll let you know what's available. My brother just bought a Liberty last week and the incentive had expired. My brother told the dealer if he wanted to make the sale, include the incentives-done deal, car sold.
Try this, I found it in money mag., go to truecar.com. Price your car and it will show you what the dealer pays and the price ranges. What is a good deal and what isn't.
It is legit. My brother took the info w/him when he went to the dealer.
Give it try.
Good Luck!
