Inexpensive Black Wheels

Im about to purchase a new JKU. It will be a 2014 Copperhead Pearl, and i want to throw some black wheels on there as soon as possible... The Copperhead color looks a lot better with black.
Any one have any suggestions on some decent to good looking INEXPENSIVE black wheels? Ill be running 35s. I have about $3K to work with for re-gearing, wheels, and tires.
i know its not a lot, especially considering gearing. not to mention the question of locking up the rear end.
Any tire suggestions are welcome as well. Its the first time I've ever gone shopping for either.

Check out Discount Tire, probably best deal you'll find anywhere for wheels and tires. Send them a PM if you've got questions.

Here's my 2013 JKU with the MB Razors and 33" Grabber AT2s I just got last week. Discount Tire had by far the best deal going.

I really like those matte black razors, but can't seem to find them in 18 inch. Anything out there that is similar?

That's a good thing! Stick to 17 or 16 inch wheels.

You can't get much cheaper than a set of steel wheels. They run around $50 each, depending on the size.

I'd like to, but I already bought tires to fit the 18 inch stock wheels.

I'm new to all this, I just got my 1st jeep last week. It has the stock 18" wheels and tires. What does 17"-16" wheels do different then the 18's?

Next time you cut and paste your question directly from one forum (JK Owners) to this one....try to leave the status, report, and edit links out of the postings here. (Yeah, I pulled the links).

First Wranglers look much better with smaller wheels and bigger tires. The tires are also less expensive with smaller wheels.

I love my blackrock steel soft 8s. 17 inch by 9 inch with 4.5 inch backspace- sets them out pretty nice with a 33 by 12.5 inch tire I think I bought them from morrisjeep.com

With 35's, a 16" Level 8 Tracker would look good.

Those are 285/75R16 GYDT on a 4" Backspace
The price on the wheels are very reasonable... Price on the tires.... No Comment!

Looking good! Looking forward to the day they arrive.

Not so inexpensive for me, I'll pay $150-$200 for shipping since I'm in Puerto Rico

These rims with the proper Backspace turned out to be cheaper than regular steelies and then adding spacers. I was able to re-use the stock lugs and locking lugs.

I really like the Ballistic Jester wheels. For 17" wheels you could get them for around $150 each.
