I will paint it but I needed a winch this weekend so time was an issue but the steel is thick so surface rust will be prevalent but no rot

Very nice im trying to custom fab one from a slighty used aev plate .hoping to sandwich it together with stock bumper and mount hawse fairlead to stock bumper.if you evered measured the hole on the stock bumper there a two hole exactly ten inches apart .perfect for the hawse lead.its like chrysler thought ahead but never offered a kit or something

I don't have the equipment to but I could get it done. I would just paint it with roll bar and chassis paint

We pull guys out every weekend that have cheap winches that got submerged in water and all they do is smoke. And there are always a few that have a good winch but no idea how to use it.
If your thinking of cheap buy a come along it will always work.
Wheeling and cheap is never a good combo never.
